Meet The Family Behind Tannie Net's Daycare
Tannie Net's Daycare is more than a daycare - it is an extension of our family. Built from a love of children, learning and community, our little daycare is supported by a team of caring adults who believe every child deserves to feel safe, loved and at home.

Hi, I'm Janet
Tannie Net's Daycare began as a dream to create the kind of environment I wanted for my own children - a small, nurturing space where children feel safe, loved and free to learn through play.
After more than 15 years working with young children, I opened Tannie Net's Daycare in 2024. As both a mother and educator, I understand how important it is for parents to know their child is receiving individual attention, consistency and genuine care.
Today, our little daycare remains intentionally small, allowing every child to be know, supported and celebrated as they grow.

Why Tannie Net's Daycare Began
Tannie Net's Daycare began long before we opened our doors in 2024.
As a mother myself, I wanted a place where children could feel safe, loved and truly known. I believed that young children thrive when they are given individual attention, opportunities to learn through play, and the freedom to develop at their own pace.
Over the years, our family home naturally became a place where children gathered to learn, play and grow. What started as a dream slowly grew into Tannie Net's Daycare - a small, nurturing environment built around the values that matter most to us: kindness, curiosity, connection and belonging.
Today, those same values continue to guide everything we do.

Meet Amanda
Amanda joined Tannie Net's Daycare in January 2026 and quickly became an important part of our little daycare family.
With her calm nature, warm smile and natural ability to connect with young children, Amanda helps create the safe, loving environment that our children enjoy every day. Whether she is reading stories, assisting with meals, comforting little ones, or joining in imaginative play, Amanda brings patience, kindness and genuine care to everything she does.
Amanda works closely alongside Janet to ensure that every child feels value, supported and loved throughout their day. Together, they provide a home-away-from-home environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.

A Family Effort
Tannie Net's Daycare may be small, but it is supported by a wonderful family behind the scenes.
From helping prepare learning spaces and maintaining our facilities, to reading stories, playing with little ones and cheering us on during busy seasons, our family plays an important role in making our daycare feel like home.
We are grateful for the support of our children, parents and extended family, whose encouragement and involvement help create the warm, welcoming environment that our daycare is known for.
